Norbert's pursuit of photography began in 1992, when he first bought a camera on a road trip to New York City. Since then, it is his cameras he packs first while hiking and climbing outdoors. He is humbled by the diversity of our surrounding landscape, both within our immediate intimate environment and in that which we instinctively explore beyond. He has traveled to, and photographed such places as, the Rocky Mountains, Vermont's Green Mountains, Ontario, and the White Mountains in New Hampshire. His favorite projects include month long expeditions to Nunavut's Baffin and Ellesmere Islands. Since 1998 he has embraced the digital printing process and shares his work in galleries, coffee shops, and most recently online. In the spring of 2004 he founded Ink Studios.
