LIGHTING
Never expose your prints to direct sunlight, open unfiltered fluorescent bulbs and hot incandescent lights. Doing so will degrade the life of any work on paper. .............
.
FRAMING
Always display your giclee prints under glass or acrylic such as Plexiglas and Lucite. This will protect your print from harmful ultraviolet light, physical damage, dust and environmental pollutants. ....................
HANDLING
Avoid touching prints with bare hands, as the acid on your fingers can prematurely shorten the life of your print.
|
COATING SPRAY
If you can't display a print behind glass consider using an approved coating spray, which in some cases can almost doubles the print's life. .........................................
STORAGE
If possible store your prints flat in archival boxes, or envelopes. Store in darkness. Avoid moisture and high temperatures. Stack prints only when archival paper is used as divider. Do not use any storage that contains acid or Pvc materials.
