This full day hands on workshop goes beyond the basics and includes a large format print. We discuss such giclee printing topics as drivers, color management, monitor profiling/calibration, media specifications, and soft proofing in Photoshop. Each participant will start with a scan of their own work, while we dive into scanning technique and procedures. After lunch, we edit and prepare the files for printing, using Photoshop and printer profiles in our print driver. The full workflow is explained step by step from start to finish. This course includes proofs and one large format print of the image you bring in, printed on our Epson 7600. You end up with a high quality print up to 24" x 36" all the while perfecting the craft of giclee printmaking on a large format printer. This is a great workshop for anyone who wants to proof their images at home and then integrate with our color profile system for final wide format printing. It's also great for anyone thinking of purchasing a wide format printer. Basic knowledge of Photoshop is required to gain the maximum benefits from this workshop. Since this is a very interactive workshop, space is limited to only 3 participants. As always, please contact us for more information.
